Comfortable stay on Dingle Peninsula

Very comfortable stay in a nice location on the Dingle Peninsula. Hostess very helpful with travel tips. Would stay there again.

Farmhouse On the Dingle Penninsula

The Garvey farmhouse is a perfect place to stay and explore the Dingle pennisula. The hosts are very friendly and the family room was very spacious. The house is located on a working farm so you can see cows which is fun if you are traveling with children. The house location is about 10 minutes outside of the town of Dingle. I preferred being outside of the actual town to avoid the congestion. The farmhouse location makes it easy to go into town for restaurants but still feel like you are out in the countryside.

Lovely hosts and great big, clean rooms! Dingle Peninsula is a must visit when in Ireland with tons of great outdoor activities. This place is well located on the peninsula and we went horseback riding on the beach just 5 minutes away!

We loved our short stay at Garvey Farms. Joan was so friendly and gave us good tips on everything from where to go to see the most beautiful scenery, and how to get to the ferry. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was good and strong, not instant!! We'll go back for sure!

Best B n B. Had a great time

I was in Ventry for 3 nights. with 3 kids 14,10,8. We had the family room. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed in family room. It was very spacious and clean. Joan was wonderful. Her helper Vivian was great too. Breakfast was excellent everyday with fresh milk. This is on a farm. The farm is separate but is right next to it. Tom Garvey runs the farm. My two younger girls were anxious to see the cows being milked. Tom let them come in and see how it was done and let them milk a little old school and using their hands. The entire experience was AWESOME! If i make back there I will be staying with the Garveys again!

Beautiful location and warm welcome

Very friendly and welcoming! Excellent location, easy walk to beach and other tremendous views. Quick drive/taxi to town. Would highly recommend to friends and family alike!

Dairy farm B&B

Wonderful place. A working dairy farm so it's removed from town. $15 cab ride. Nice host, rooms and breakfast - including cooked eggs!

Lovely location, kind host, terrible room

Bathroom was literally a closet with a shower and toilet. Had to cross bedroom to use a washbasin in the middle of the bedroom. Great location, lovely host but disappointing room.

Disappointing stay

We received a very hospitable welcome at this B&B but, unfortunately, we found the accommodation to be in average to poor condition, especially considering the high price we paid. We stayed in several other B&Bs in the area during our holiday and, based on the age, condition and state of repair we found our room in, we would have expected the price to be at least half of what it was.
