"This auberge is situated in the centre of Castellane, with a river at the rear that you can swim in. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it, lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. There is a large rear shaded terrace which was quiet snd you could relax have a drink. Castellane has a friendly, busy but relaxed vibe, plenty to see and do. I would definitely stay again. Ask for a room on the rear so that it is hidden from the buzz of the square. "

"Lou Paradou was a beautiful aparthotel in a gorgeous little town. The staff were so lovely and friendly, the hotel was spotless and the pool area was really nice and well maintained. The breakfast was always well stocked and there was plenty of choice every day. I would 100% recommendation this hotel and would return if was visiting Provence again! "

"Great view of the lake, good food and good service. Room conditions need improvement as two electrical outlets didn’t work in our room. Only outlet working was the one for the TV, They brought us an extension cord and unplugged the TV to solve the problem. Room condition and facilities are very basic but I guess that’s what we paid for. "

We finally got a number for emergencies and he gave us the code to the safe with our key. When we got to the place they had not prepared at all. The beds were not made, there was no soap or cleaning items to towels yet checkout required us to wash dishes. The electricity was also off so we had to find the electrical box. The WiFi also didn’t work. When we tried to calll back the emergency number no one answered."
