Relais Villa Olmo

"Let's start with the bad things: None. Now to the good part: Everything. The hotel itself is located on a beautiful hill in Impruneta, surrounded by olive groves. The bedroom was spacious and the foyer was well equiped. Both were cleaned daily. The most important, it had two airconditioners making the rooms very co. fortable in the 100F Tuscan summer. Thus is something that is not a given in a 16th century villa in Italy. the breakfast was great. Many options, from Italian cold cuts to American breakfast to fresh bakef pastries. The restaurant has a limited menu (as it should) , but what they make, they make well. But the best part was the staff, who all were very helpful, cheery and knowledgeable about the area. Their reccomendations were spot on. Car rental is reccomended. Impruneta doe not have ZTL, and the hotel has ample parking space. It is about 20 minutes by car from Florence and an hour from Siena. Since we used a rental car we cannot attest to the public transportation accessibility and convinience, but buses to Florence or Siena stop in the nearby village."

"Such a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful and everything is well appointed. We arrived and were upgraded to an incredible suite with sweeping views of the Tuscan hills. The pool is great, the staff is great, breakfast is great. Will definitely stay again!"

"Staff was incredibly friendly, rooms very clean and were cleaned every day, and the property is amazing! The restaurant had such great food with a nice atmosphere as well! Highly recommend staying here!"

"Beautiful to stay in the main house. The breakfasts were great to start the day - really enjoyed sitting around the pool, nice and peaceful with amazing view. Rooms were comfortable. Easy to get out and try local restaurants and visit other places. Only think for us is it could do with a gym - if you're onsite all day, this would have just made the place perfect."

"Amazing location, perfect Tuscan views from the property. Short drive to several medieval cities/towns. Restaurant at nearby sister property was excellent, just a short walk with similar views. The pool was great, the included breakfast and all amenities (appertiv and wine in arrival, honor fridge and bar) in particular. The staff were amazing, many nearby wineries for tastings. It was even more than I expected, I would highly recommend and would certainly go back. Just a 40 to 45 minute to the airport n Florence. The cooking class with dinner was also amazing!"

"The property is BEAUTIFUL! The pools were perfect for our kids. The food and wine was great. The room was on the small side for 4 people but we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room so it wasn’t a huge deal. Also the room could use a very good dusting. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
