Very much enjoyed staying here! It was in a good location for several hikes and it was so nice to unwind in the sauna after a long day of being active outside. There is no shampoo or soap provided in the shower, just something to be aware of!

Comfortable beds, clean sheets,. towels and bathroom, well-equipped kitchen with dish-washer, spacious apartment with dining table, etc. Free parking close by. Missed a microwave. Could hear people in the upstairs apartment walking at night. Shower cabin a bit uncomfortable for tall people.

Charming place

We had a lovely stay at this small, cosy flat. The place is clean and thoughtfully decorated, with a charming mix of old and new that makes it feel both homey and stylish. It had everything we needed for a comfortable night with the family. There’s even a place to charge an electric car, which was a big plus for us. The staff were very helpful and nice, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Later, we returned for a fishing trip.

The marketing photo (above) is a misleading advertisement. There are studios built on stilts overlooking our accommodation and blocking the advertised sea view. The properties website does not currently show them either. Total misrepresentation and underhandedness

These are charming cabins in a great spot! They are not accessible for those with mobility challenges but if you’re ok climbing a ladder to a loft it’s so fun! We were treated to northern lights visible from bed ! Communication with the front desk was slow and due to very limited hours this was a bit challenging but worked out ok with digital check in. The restaurant served yummy food, and the sauna is well worth it. There is a grocery store (joker) a few minutes walk away for essentials. Such a great spot to spend a few nights.

Accueil inexistant sans aucune information hormis le souhait d’être payé alors que nous restions 2 jours.je passe l’indifférence de l’équipe composée de 3 jeunes totalement indifférents à notre présence.Nous découvrons un logement non conforme au descriptif ( nous pensions avoir un lodge au lieu d’un appartement) ce dernier est accessible uniquement par un escalier abrupt. Le lit en mezzanine n’était accessible que par une échelle dangereuse. Le canapé déployé en lit était inconfortable puis nous remarquons que la bonde du lavabo était mêlée à une large pelote de cheveux et de poils.Enfin, le tarif était augmenté de 10 euros par rapport au prix initial. Nous sommes très déçus de ce lieu qui ne semble parfait qu’en photos. Heureusement que les îles Lofoten sont merveilleuses.

Det eneste som dro litt ned var at det flommet utover badegulvet når jeg dusjet. Savnet en nal for å fjerne vannet med. Ellers var alt perfekt. Veldig godt renhold. Og best av alt, jeg kunne ha med hunden min. Vi koste oss skikkelig.

Weekend stay.

Weekend stay with the family. The apartment was new, and equipped with most of what one needs. Missed tv and radio, wifi signal was good and was used to download tv on tablet. Grocery store right by the cabins.

A lovely gem in the middle of Lofoten!

We had such a nice stay at Hemmingodden Lodge! The location was so convenient--easy to get to various places in Lofoten, and Ballstad is a very quiet easy-going place. We found the apartment cozy and clean, with everything we needed there. Would definitely stay again.
