Classic hotel stay by Lake Geneva, easy walk from the train station. Very nice staff. Our room (a โsuiteโ room #17) overlooked a town plaza and the lake. One thing to be aware of: the downstairs is a bar/restaurant, with music until midnight. And the town plaza is noisy with people, both at night and in the morning. Our room was on the 2nd floor, directly above the bar. I could hear the thump-thump of dance music as I lay in bed. On our 2nd night, at 11pm, I went downstairs and asked the manager to turn the music down (he was very nice about it and agreed to lower the volume; although he was surprised that I could hear the music. He said: โon the weekends, we have a DJ!โ Overall, this hotel is a very nice experience and I would recommend it. Just be aware that youโre in a public area.
