For us the main reason to come to Vevey was to go to the Chaplin Museum, we stayed 2 nights in this hotel, everything was perfect: the room, service, location, the hotel is in a very beautiful building situated on a lake. We loved Vevey, it is a quiet place, very relaxing, a short bus ride to the museum, the hotel gives a free pass to the public transportation. I strongly recommend the hotel, Vevey and the fantastic Chaplin Museum.

An old an hool elegant hotel with excellent friendly and competent staff who make it special staying there. The style of the hotel is sadly sometimes not matched by the elegance of the guests who should try to at least dress appropriately when drinking in the lovely terrrace bar. Comfortable well equipped rooms with excellent room service and scrupulously clean

This is a beautiful hotel right on the lake. I’ll list the pro’s and con’s Pro’s: We were traveling with a teenager and the room was big enough for her to have her own twin bed and there was ample space for all 3 of us. The cleaning staff was fantastic! Turned down the beds every evening w/ a chocolate on our pillows. Fresh towels every day. Very clean property and room Location was perfect! Walkable to many restaurants Con’s: They do not have bfast included in the stay and bfast is $38.00/per person!! We ate dinner at hotel once and it was very over priced for the food. No coffee pot or Nespresso in room so if you are a coffee drinker as I am you are paying for coffee EVERY MORNING which for the price of the hotel is ridiculous they can’t give you a cup of coffee for free! This really did annoy me! They charged us for parking BUT they simply left the car in the open lot in the front of the hotel, it was not garaged and the car got covered in sap! The car was spotless when we arrived not so when we left and it was also an expensive per night fee to have the car there. Not sure I’d return to this hotel again. For the price I’m just not sure it’s worth it.

L'hôtel est très beau mais certaines chambres sont encore d'époque, c'est un joli style mais qui ne plaît pas à tout le monde. Pour ma part, je n'aime pas trop me doucher dans une baignoire avec un rideau de douche pas trop grand. Sinon c'est très propre. Le service au bar laisse par contre à désirer, le personnel est très gentil mais c'est extrêmement lent et il n'y a pas d'organisation entre les serveurs.
