โElizabeth gave some dining options, and we went to 10 Sout5h Rooftop Bar and Grill. The pork chop dinner was the BEST I ever had! Had dinner the night before at Walnut Hills, a true southern comfort experience.
The property has historic details that are incredible. Some aging deterioration, but with 115 years of existence, I would too! The pool was a pleasant relief, and the room was spacious with a modern shower/bathroom. Breakfast was delicious both days, and fun to interact with Staff and...
โBed was a little stiff for my wife but I slept well. Pillows were great and the shower was nice. Ate on the back porch. Breakfast was nice and full of butter. Bacon was yummy. For an old house the doors were a bit hard to lock. Hated to have to slam the door to get it to lock. Stayed in the Grant room where General Grant slept.โ
โEverything was good until morning time the housekeeping was knocking on my door at 9:00 a.m. trying to tell us this time to leave and we didn't have to leave until 11:00 I felt rushed we will not be backโ
โOverall the hotel was clean and comfortable. Bed was cozy with an assortment of pillows.
3 star for eco friendly. The hot water takes a VERY long time. If you figure the amount of water wasted by each guest everyday it is a gross waste. Please do better! โ
โThis motel is set off the side of a busy highway. You hear cars all night. There is no grass to walk pets on. Room smelled strongly of weed even though the room was โsmoke freeโ. Parking lot was well lit. Was very quiet people wise after dark. As long as the sound of traffic doesnโt bother you itโs not a bad cheap place to stay. Bed was comfortable too. I would stay here again. Although I would recommend getting there early and cutting on the AC on as early as possible. The room was very hot...
โThe staff here is very friendly. We stayed the night coming back from vacation and enjoyed the casino as well. The hotel is smaller, but was accommodating and very clean. I can't say enough about the helpful staff. We are coming back again. โ
