"Great front desk service…breakfast was minimal but at the same time it was beyond the continental breakfast advertised…this is a case of don’t judge the book by the cover…when we first arrived we thought we made a major mistake as this is a hotel built in the 50’s and the outside looks that way..we signed in and were given real old door keys (which we were told if we lost we would be billed $100 per key)…no elevator and stairs and rails etc needing painting/old outside…that said the room was very clean, new carpet, nice beds…..my advice to travellers would be to request top (3rd) floor as the first or second floor are subject to major noise from above from guests walking on the floors despite the carpet"

"Somewhat old-fashioned but quality motel in a good location. On main road into downtown and within walking distance to a large shopping centre. Booked a king but only available room was slightly below ground level, facing the parking lot shared with National car rental. Luckily reception was able to move me to a queen on the 3rd floor which was much better. Small but comfortable room with nice bed and clean bathroom. Good experience overall, happy to recommend."
