It is a good no-frill hotel. The breakfast spread is nice. It also close to the Praterstern station, so you can directly take the S7 train from airport to this station.

The hotel was good clean and close to train station and easy to get into central London. They let me check in early. Single room is small but enough for one person. The sounds isolation was bad as one can hear people walking loud, slamming doors and moving around. Other than that the hotel is a good value for money

The is a great hotel at an affordable price! The staff were friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast in the morning! We only stayed for 1 night, however, it seems like a great choice in Vienna!

I stayed at Hotel Kunsthof in Vienna for 5 nights and overall had a very pleasant experience. I would especially like to highlight Noah at the front desk. He was truly outstanding and made my stay feel welcoming and personal. Noah helped me arrange a taxi for a very early morning airport transfer at 3:00 am, explained the expected cost in advance, and made sure the taxi was waiting exactly on time. Throughout my stay, he was incredibly kind and attentive. He brought me coffee in the evening, took time to talk, shared local recommendations, and helped me discover places I would not have found on my own. His professionalism, warmth, and ability to genuinely connect with guests are exceptional. He truly understands hospitality and would absolutely deserve a promotion or a leadership role. The hotel also has a very beautiful backyard. Even in winter it looks charming and peaceful. During breakfast, a lovely staff member named Evgeniya, who was serving coffee, mentioned that in summer the courtyard becomes even more beautiful, full of greenery with outdoor seating. It definitely made me want to return during a warmer season. Breakfast was very good. I appreciated the flexibility of purchasing it as an option rather than being tied to a fixed schedule. The selection of cheeses, cold cuts, bread, scrambled eggs, and coffee was excellent. The bread was especially delicious, and the cappuccino was surprisingly good for a machine made coffee. Lovely hotel

⸻ I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Vienna. Everything was perfect — from the clean and comfortable rooms to the excellent service. What really stood out for me was the staff at the restaurant. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. Their warm attitude made my experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Vienna

Kunsthof is a cute place in a more quiet part of Vienna. Close to Transit, an easy starting point for the day to explore the city or walk over to prater. Breakfast was excellent, worth the money -we barely needed lunch!

The property, although older and not of a 4 or 5 star hotel rating, was Immaculately clean with staff who cared and were helpful. Rooms were serviced daily. The location was safe and 4 short Underground stops from the centre of Vienna with places of interest being easily reachable. The local area has many reasonably priced eateries. Transport was excellent as Praterstern station (a 7 minute walk from the hotel) is a main transport hub for Underground, train (including airport link), bus and tram services. Noise from these services could not be heard from the property.

The hotel room was spacious and had many places to hold our travel bags and shopping bags. The bathroom was spotless and updated, but didn’t have a hook for the sprayer, which meant an awkward, sit-down shower in the tub. Great breakfast, great service. Was a little further away from the attractions than we were used to but all attractions were easy to get to by public transportation. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was vey nice and the staff was excellent. The breakfast was great! The only downside was that the AC in my room was broken and it was quite warm even with the provided fans. Also one of the rooms (we had 3) had a tub with only a handheld shower head so no easy way to shower.

Fine if you can get for cheap

Agree with some comments from other travellers. Pillows were lumpy, wifi was horrible in the room and was hard to plan travel for the next day without paying for data or going to the lobby, rooms were outdated and looked worn. Mornings were loud and you would get woken up by slamming doors. Service was decent. I guess we went at a busy time because the place was pretty expensive when we went for a very subpar experience. Location was good in a safe feeling neighbourhood.
