“Sehe schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Tür zur Toilette beim Standard-Doppelzimmer nur verglast und oben offen, das muss man wollen. Garten sehr schön, Frühstück vollkommen ausreichend. Dafür nimmt man die paar km mehr den Berg hoch gerne in Kauf. ”

I called no less than 15 times to each of the 3 proffered contact numbers when locked out of my room- no answer or call rejected. One of the numbers- on the official property literature and signs outside reception- actually said to me: “ I have nothing to do with this hotel. I have no idea why my number is there!” After an hour of standing out...

“I highly recommend stopping here if you are on the Camino and want to stop in Caminha or Seixas. The private rooms are small but very nice. I had a view of the beautiful cathedral in town right outside my window. There is a beautiful view of the Minho River from the deck outside. The shared bathroom is very clean and the shared common room was large (as well as the kitchen). Patricia who runs it is also very kind and helpful. Definitely a 5 star stay!”

“Beautiful property and surrounding scenery. Attentive friendly hosts. Well kept and clean. Bedrooms are on 2nd floor no elevator. Spacious bathrooms. Cabin type feel a bit chilly even w heaters in Dec. Streets leading to property are very narrow so having a smaller car is better and follow signage for easiest route . Overall beautiful rental beautiful views and amazing stay.”
