Vionnaz, Valais hotel rooms at the Residhotel

What a gem! We had a lovely 2-night stay at Alparthotel surrounding one day of skiing at Champery. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and clean. It is an easy walk from the Chemin de Verger bus stop. We did not have a car and were able to walk to a Coop nearby (grocery store and restaurant). The rooms were comfortable and modern. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic time here. The staff went above and beyond, and the on-site restaurant was a real highlight — genuinely excellent food and service that made the trip. The views are spectacular and worth the visit on their own. A couple of practical notes for future guests. The hot tub runs cooler than what we're used to in the US — I'd estimate around 90–95°F — so if you like it piping hot, just set your expectations accordingly. It's still lovely, just more of a warm soak than a hot...

This impeccably maintained vintage hotel was immaculate in every way. Like stepping back in time to where the rich and famous of the past surely visited. Great view overlooking Montreux, but not super convenient to walking the lake promenade. There is a tram or bus stop nearby that easily takes you up and down.

This was a wonderful stay - the room was comfortable, the staff is very friendly, and the breakfast included has a lot of delicious options. Highly recommend

Overall, this place was fantastic. The hotel did not disappoint. Only complaint is we were in the area during the “off season”, and all the surrounding businesses were essentially closed. But the breakfast alone at this hotel is reason enough to go back if I ever find myself in Switzerland again.

Stayed overnight in this quaint hotel and loved it! Was within walking distance to Castle Chillon. Was given discounts to the castle, excursion to Rochers de Naye and bus/train. Breakfast provided in the morning. Would stay again!

Beautiful lake side Villa. Great atmosphere, enjoyed the balcony view of the city and Lake Geneva!! AC worked great!!

This was one of the most exceptional experiences I have ever had. The drive up the mountain was a bit nerve wracking, however, the setting was surreal. The accommodations were clean, rustic elegance. The view was sublime and the food was exquisite. There are many, many summer and winter activities to participate in. This place is worth traveling across the ocean to stay at!

Each and every member of the Alpe Fluire staff - from the reception to those in the restaurant - were kind, gracious and most professional. Definitely a “stay” for those that want to match the charm of Villars sur Ollon with their hotel. One word captures it all - exceptionally charming.

Great location. Excellent view from 14th floor. Can hear noise from Montreux Jazz Festival till 0230. Bathroom small and can be made more functional.

Beautiful historic property on Lake Geneva. Impeccable service, luxurious rooms (a bit small). Recently renovated.

Exceptional hospitality and comfort. One of the most comfortable hotel sleeps I have ever had and the spa is outstanding!

It was a great place to stay everything was well if I have a chance to visit Montreux again I will stay at Royal Plaza
