"Staff was pleasant and room was comfortable, but pool was out of service. The pool had been the deciding factor in choosing this hotel, so the fact that it was down was very disappointing. We would have opted to go elsewhere if a refund had been an option. "

"This hotel was perfect for us, we just needed a place to sleep for the night while down for a softball tournament. The staff was friendly and room, while small, was clean and comfy. We didn't get a chance to explore the area since we were only in town for the tournament, but looks like a good center location for great activities. Also had a beautiful view of the bridge and river from our window."

"The view was fantastic! The hotel is a bit run down and outdated. We had reserved a "themed room" and received a call that the lock broke on the door of the theme room and they would have to put us in a "Standard" room, at the same price, did not offer any discount or anything for not getting the theme room that we had reserved. Breakfast is the same everyday, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, yogurt and stale bagels. There was some sort of altercation outside of our hotel room at about 1:00 AM in the morning, while the hotel can't necessarily control what their guest do, they could have and should have cleaned up the blood left behind from the altercation on the concrete right outside our door and leading all the way down the stairs and all the way to the front of the hotel, blood was on the stair railings where someone not knowingly could have put their hand in it. This is a biohazard concern for the other hotel guest and should have been cleaned up before other guest encountered it. There was also loud noises from the plumbing coming from adjoining rooms all night and day."

"This property had large mold growing along the wall. By the curtains and mold growing above the bathroom sink. Thank you so much. Spoke to the manager manager stated that it's a very old building and all the rooms have mold in it. The receptionist was very rude. You can tell she had a problem that my husband was a black man. She was listening to politics when we walked in. Didn't bother to shut it off.After a comment was made had an attitude.When you asked for help. "

"This hotel is a hidden gem. Such a great out of the way location while still being so close to everything. The path behind the hotel takes you everywhere. The chowder in the lobby each evening is the reason we returned. Plus parking is so easy and everything is clean and pretty upscale for the price. Love this place and will 100% come again. "
