It's a typical old style Japanese businessman hotel where most rooms has no private lavatory and fridge. And one needs to use the shared one on the hallway. And there's a public bath."

"The staff were very kind and looked after my luggage as I arrived in Wakayama early. The hotel is very close to Wakayamashi station and easy to find. It is also close to the castle and other tourist attractions. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel has rental bicycles which were only 100 Yen which was cheap and convenient. The hotel seems like it needs to be updated as it looks a bit old in places, however it was very clean. It was very good value."
