"We enjoyed our overnight stay at Christmas Creek Cafe & Cabins. The cabins were basic but clean, there was a small heater, enough to take the edge off the chill in the room and plenty of warm blankets provided. We made a small fire down by the creek and the kids loved playing in and around the creek. Was lovely to get away and disconnect from the everyday routine! "

"Was very great value for money - is traditional basic pub accommodation, e.g. shared bathrooms, no work desk etc, and above the pub itself which can get noisy on a Friday night when theyve got a band on and the pubs full, bring ear plugs if your not a deep sleeper like myself however the other night was no noise. "Pros: The retreat room is small but it is cleverly designed to suit your needs and comfort. There are hiking tracks suit all levels and ages, even suitable for wheelchairs. Fantastic mountain view from the room, a lot wildlife, clean air, friendly helpful staff.... Cons: food is expensive. Retreat room doesn't have cooking facilities. "
