“We only stayed the one night, and would definitely book here again. The staff were extemely helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean and tidy. Our room could probably do with an update, but it was clean, spacious, and had a great view. Breakfast was very nice with a great choice of hot drinks and huices as well as both a cold selection buffet, and a cooked breakfast option, all included in our booking. Overall we were vey happy with our stay.”
“A bit late here for a review, but stayed in late June. Friendly and accommodating to us who failed to read the hotel rules and had a couple of awkward moments with late arrivals and service needs! Really appreciated the homey, peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful authentic antique structure with just the right modern conveniences and Great access to our choice garden visits in the area. we would definitely stay again

“Historic hotel in a lovely market town. Very clean, reasonably priced, excellent breakfast. Dinner was tasty but perhaps the portion was a bit stingy. Miles is an excellent waiter and all round go-to person. Very personable. ”
