“Brilliant stay at a great hotel. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. Had a lovely meal in the evening and breakfast was amazing. Would highly recommend and will book to stay again.”

“The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing.”

“Parking outside the pub was full but there is a small village car park on the opposite side of the road to use. The mattress was extremely comfortable and the room well presented woth a great choice of teas, coffees and biscuits available in the room. There are a few walks that can be done straight from the pub. I was doubtful about staying at a pub but this place was excellent.”

“Excellent Hotel. Great staff and good parking onsite if available. The breakfast was really good and a reasonable price. Terrific place if you want to do the Coastal walk as the bus stop is just up the road and the walk brings you back past the hotel. Evening food was a reasonable price and good quality.”

“Easy check in, we'd been before and were familiar with arrangements. Staff remembered us and were friendly. Room clean, stairs steep and narrow, fortunately we didn't have a lot of luggage. Breakfast freshly made and excellent. Full bar services available. Car parking is an issue, chargeable car parks around, limited free parking if you know where to go and prepared to walk. ”

“Traditional pub building in the middle of a village. The bar was full of local people having a good time but no noise made it through to the bedroom due to very thick walls. Nice room, clean, huge bed plenty of indirect lighting and enough power points. New en suite bathroom. Very friendly but unobtrusive staff. Excellent full English breakfast.”
