"I have come through Wells many times, have always stayed at Hampton. But, decided to give a small business a shot, and I do not regret it. It’s a little bit of nostalgia, that Route 66 feeling. Rooms were clean, beds soft, towels fluffy, area quiet, staff friendly. Ignore the surroundings, downtown Wells was devastated by an earthquake, the area might look “sketchy”, but everyone was kind and I felt absolutely safe. Walked to a restaurant and park."

"All the bathroom fixtures were old and rusty. Bathroom door didn’t shut all the way. Bathroom window has cobwebs. Ice machine didn’t work. Washer and dryer were filthy . The free breakfast wasn’t very good, but for free I guess that’s what you get. But the bedding was clean and the room was good size. "
