“Room was nice. There was no TV in my room which is ok cuz not many people need to watch TV in their hotel rooms when visiting Pagosa Springs. There was no AC in my room but an electric fan only. I was ok with sleeping in the room with windows open. Front office informed us after 10PM is quiet hrs because the walls are not sound proof. This is due to it being an old building.”

“It is situated in an adorable little town. The room was nice and the bathroom awesome. There was no tv in the room, which was a little different. We could not figure out how to work the thermostat. Two "issues" that we had: 1. The second night the bar was very loud and we were the first room from the bar. There were also doors slamming everywhere. 2. It was advertised as getting a bottle of wine for each night stayed there. This we had to ask for and then they needed to verify.”

“The property was well kept up and very clean. The hot tub and bicycles were fun. Breakfast was fantastic. I would highly recomend a stay here.”

I had to take away stars because the primary reasons I booked at this location was that the property information listed breakfast being included and laundry facilities as a convenience. The owner said they haven't provided breakfast in quite a long time and the laundry facility was a laundromat across the street.”

“My first visit to Silverton and I'm so glad I chose to stay at The Avon! Loved the charm of this place, very fitting to the full experience of a mountain town at high elevation. The whole establishment was kept very clean, bathrooms are clean and stuffed with clean towels and toiletries, the kitchen/bar/living room area is very roomy. I stayed at one of the bunk rooms and I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the bed was, with clean and soft bedding. Great job to Daniel, who runs this...
