Large hotel in the centre of Wernigerode about 10 mins walk from the railway station. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Room comfortable and clean. The hotel does seem to have a number of coach parties so can get busy at times.

Amazing stay

Very nice hotel. In a charming mid evil city of Germany. The room itself was large and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing choices for all walks of life.

Room was nice and clean. Most of the staff were great except one of the reception staff was a little rude when I went to check in; the gentleman that did check me in was great. Parking was easy and right next to the hotel and they had a HUGE breakfast selection!

Nice hotel, nice staff excellent breakfast, comfortable room. It was very warm weather when we stayed and the only area that could be improved would be air conditioned rooms. I would stay again for sure.

Poor english skills from the Hotel reception.... No info that the room will not be cleaned if you do not request it. (Only info in GErman) When requested cleaning they didnt do it..... Poor Wifi connection

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und besitzt eine gute Anbindung zum benachbarten Parkhaus. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet.

Hotellet ligger fint placeret og har fine parkeringsmuligheder incl. Tesla 11kw lader. Vi ankom til hotellet sidst på eftermiddagen samtidig med nogle busser som havde fyldt med pensionister på tur, vi spørg til parkering og bliver mødt af et par temmelig sure damer bag skranken, den ene siger vredt hun ikke taler engelsk (så du placeret i forkert job på et hotel!) den anden er ikke særlig behagelig og smil kender hun ihvertfald ikke til, vi har svært ved at forstå hendes parkerings anvisning men det lykkes til sidst. Ved indtjekningen mødes vi igen af sure attituder fra samme kvinde som bl.a. vredt svare på vores spørgsmål på hvorfor de ikke har svaret på vores ønsker, at de ingen information får fra hotels.com (underligt for andre steder svare) vi lykkes med at få værelse som er fint men sindssygt varmt og indelukket. Morgenmad er fint varieret dog savnede vi æblejuice, kvalitet af morgenmad har lidt vej til at være til mere end 3 stjerner. Vi skal ud og køre lidt i området og frygter at spørge ved receptionen, men denne gang mødes vi af fantastiske glade og imødekommende herre som taler rigtig godt engelsk og er rigtig hjælpsomme (tusind tak) Rengørings personale er supersøde og er tidligt i gang, det skal man være obs på hvis man er syvsover :-) det er vi ikke så ingen problem. Hvis hotellet skal højere end 3 stjerner hos os så skal der klimaanlæg til for luften var direkte ubehagelig og hvis man ikke er til varme skal man holde sig væk fra stedet i varme perioder.

Fitnessrummet har meget lidt udstyr. Receptionisten lykkedes ikke ret godt med at være behjælpelig med parkering og betaling. De insisterer på at tale tysk når de tales engelsk til.

Rygning foran hotellet er ubehageligt, når man hver gang skal passere en masse røg på vej ind i hotellet. Desuden blev røgen transporteret op på vores værelse ved åben vindue. Derfor trækker min karakter ned.

Fine lokaler til en rimelig pris. Venligt personale og god morgenbuffet. Værelset var en fin størrelse og velholdt. Fortrinligt rengjort. Rigtigt fin parkeringsmulighed lige ved siden af hotellet og så til kun 10 euro per dag (2026). Hotellet ligger centralt og har gåafstand til alt. Vi kommer gerne igen 👍

Vi ankom en søndag, personale i receptionen var hjælpsomme, men det tog over 20 min. at få vores nøgler, ved ikke om de ikke var ordentligt oplært, eller det var sprogproblemer. Vi talte tysk, og vi taler tysk flydende, hvilket personalet ikke gjorde! Lang tid siden vi sidst har været på HKK, men husker det altid som et godt hotel. Værelserne er ok, men maden i restauranten levede ikke længere op til den standard vi husker.
