"The Golden Nugget looked great online. However in person it's Dead. It's old and it shows by it's condition and lack of people staying and gambling. The casino floor was dead, the live band all 3 nights I was there were playing to no-one. The restaurants were empty as well. I wanted a beer and could not find a bar and when I thought I had the nice man behind the bar didn't speak English - not one word. I have stayed at the Borgata, Cesars, the Tropicana and will return to one of those on my next visit. There was ZERO customer service. "

"I’m not usually one to write reviews, but after our recent stay at Caesars for a bachelorette party, I felt this experience was worth sharing. From the start, the trip was a disaster. We had a dinner reservation for the bachelorette party at Superfrico that was booked on January 11th, but it was canceled just three days before our trip. We were told the restaurant was fully booked and they couldn’t help or accommodate us in any way, which was extremely frustrating for a planned group celebration. When we checked into the hotel, things only got worse. We had requested conjoined rooms for the bachelorette party but were told they could not accommodate this because we booked through a third-party vendor (Expedia). We were even told they don’t have conjoined rooms, which was confusing since this option appears when booking. To make matters worse, they didn’t even place our rooms next to each other. We asked to speak with a hotel manager, hoping to resolve the issue, but the manager was very rude, defensive, and dismissive while we tried explaining the situation. There was no effort to help or make the situation better. I’ve stayed at many Atlantic City hotels, and this was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again."
