"There were hairs in the tub, but the place is charming. The big beware is the ferry schedule they attach to your welcome email- it is 4 years old and doesn’t match the new BC Ferries schedule at all. Use the online ferry schedule. We showed up an hour and a half early! But nice service."

"Orca Lodge was an excellent choice! All amenities you could possibly need are in the room. The view is spectacular and the deck is the perfect place to start your morning with the tied out and end your day feeling like you were floating on the water."

"This is a very comfortable and relaxing space with a lovely view in a quiet neighbourhood. Everything we needed for the kitchen is there and the small appliances were good for meal prep. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Several books are available to read comfortably in the recliner sofa or in the Adirondack chairs on the deck. The hosts provided great info for our arrival and possible activities and were really quick to respond to our inquiries. The house is only a couple of minutes drive from downtown and it’s also a short walk if you can handle the hills. A five minute walk away are the trails of the Ecological Park which is also an easy and beautiful forest and marsh walk. Don’t miss visiting the U’mista Cultural Centre either. The exhibits are very interesting and enlightening. There’s also a fantastic gift shop."
