We didn’t stay at the motel. Due to overbooking, got bumped to air bnb which was still being remodeled. It was acceptable, with full kitchen, and more private. Needs more ADA additions, especially in the bathroom.

Small motel with the sweetest owners

Comfort Green Motel is a very small motel, barely outside of Thayer. Check in was very pleasant, sweetest little couple own this property. Room was very outdated, but I did expect this based on previous reviews. Room was good sized and clean. Google maps shows this motel as permanently closed; it's not!!

Not a lot of choice in the area.

As advertised, no frills motel. The sign and surrounding property could use sprucing up. It’s an older property but the room was very clean. Our room in the trailer addition was spacious and comfortable but the thin walls let a lot of unwanted noise into our room late at night. The plus was supporting a family owned business.

Great place to stay

Had a great time at Comfort green motel, nice host, rooms were super clean and spacious, nice shower, microwave and fridge equipped. Cable TV and Wifi. You will love it!

The room was clean, everything worked....shower, TV, lights etc...It was exactly what we wanted, a reasonably priced overnight stay. There are no frills or extra's...no fancy lobby, no breakfast stuff etc. They did have a fire pit out back with seating. Staff was very friendly and you can tell that they work very hard at keeping the place going.

We knew the property had only a two star rating but the last review was in January. So we decided to try it. We liked it a basic country motel but clean with good beds. We had a room with a comfy little porch where we sat and watched the moon rise. Obviously they were working on the reception area so it was a mess. When getting in the room there was no remote for the tv and after getting one from the office area (which required a phone call to the husband and a search) I had to program the remote and find the power button for the tv (located on the back of the tv) because the woman knew absolutely nothing. The property was located about 6 miles from the closest town and had no place to eat nearby, no amenities what-so-ever not even a soda machine. All and all it was pretty bad, I stayed because they allowed pets and I have a small dog.

Office area was a mess. Hotel didn't have my reservation until I got there, so had to cancel another guest. Room seemed to be clean. Heat...space heater in the wall. Cooling...window unit. Only one small styrofoam cup provided for the entire room. Not a great property for the price.

Terrible place to stay. The room was dirty and smelly. Carpet was old and tattered and stained. Other flooring didn’t go all the way to the walls. The Fossetts were backwards. Lots of flies in the room. Overall a horrible place.
