“Aside from the room surpassing our expectations, the staff were the best. The receptionist helped us with transportation and the server at the restaurant was super attentive and the food was amazing. Last but not least the bartender makes the best cocktails. The hotel overall was the best out of all the ones we stayed at. They gave us vouchers for complimentary drinks. The area was in the middle of everything and the inside of it was beautiful. Highly recommend.”

“Check in policy is unclear. The cash policy is listed in FAQ but not noted in the auto message after booking or clearly displayed. It is also misleading when you’re required to leave a credit card for booking. Upon arrival I was told I had to make multiple transactions and my credit card company flagged it as fraud. “This property charges premium prices but delivers very little beyond the view. The location overlooking Lake Atitlán is beautiful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The internet was essentially unusable during my stay. For a hotel at this price level, reliable internet should be basic. I had work to do and could not connect. Mobile data also barely works in this location, so the hotel’s Wi-Fi is the only option. What made the situation worse was the response from staff. No one...
