“The property gives you high luxury in the middle of nature. But what makes the place exceptional is the services given by staff. They treat you like VIP from arrival to check out. I have done a lot of travel and hotels but this was so far my best experience. It brings two worlds together and it’s absolutely have to visit place if you are looking for safari lodges”

“I had a group of 16 staying at the lodge and we all absolutely loved it! The facility was lovely and the rooms were very nice. The staff especially are very welcoming and kind. Best experience was walking out of the restaurant after dinner and seeing an elephant standing in the middle of the path. 10/10 would recommend!”

“This spot is great. It definitely isn't the most luxurious place but, for those who are game, it is a wonderful property with extremely attentive and caring staff. It is nestled right in the edge of the Kiwali forest and a great jumping off point for chimp trekking.”

“The facilities are new and beautiful. They overlook the small crater lake Munyanyange which hosts birds year round and lesser flamingoes in July/August. The staff are excellent. The chef is superb! Very close to a gate for Queen Elizabeth. Staff helpful in arranging tours and walks as desired. An up and coming location, I believe. It can be hard to find initially as Google maps doesn’t have the back roads of Katwe, only the main road. If a sign goes down, you will need to ask directions...

“My stay at Gorilla Valley Lodge was wonderful. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the gardens and properties are beautiful with views overlooking the forest (including the mountain where we did our gorilla trek!). The restaurant area sits atop a hill overlooking a valley with 360 views of the mountains and scenery. The entire property is very peaceful and the restaurant served a three-course meal every evening. The rooms were clean with little welcoming touches when we arrived....
