We were there at Easter and they were short staffed in the restaurant. Food was good but needed more options given the prices being charged. Breakfast was great. I was looking for a romantic overnight stay in Weymouth but wanted character, charm and good design, as well as the ability to walk out the door and go open water swimming in the sea. Steve was a great host, and our room was quite gorgeous. His breakfasts are just the best - and he’s got a proper coffee machine - we had seconds of our flat whites and cappuccinos.
