The Ansonborough

"I booked an ADA suite and it was HUGE. It was perfect for my post-op sister. It was decorated nicely, The hotel is right across from a grocery store, which was great so I could keep the mini fridge stocked. It was also across from 167 Raw, which is a fantastic seafood spot in Charleston. The area was quiet, the staff were friendly, and the hotel was cute and a vibe. The breakfast was standard hotel fare, I wish they had more seating. The rooftop was adorable. I liked that it was a bit off of the standard downtown Charleston beaten path. I would definitely stay here again."

"Really clean room. The atrium was nice, but just so stifling hot that we could not use it much. Not their fault. The air conditioner was very loud and had difficulty keeping the room cool with the high temps and humidity. The day staff was really nice and helpful in lobby. The evening gentleman was quite curt."

"I had a wonderful stay at The Charleston Place. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and very clean, with fresh flowers and beautiful greenery throughout the property that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is excellent, right in the heart of historic Charleston, making it very convenient to explore the city on foot. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, and always made us feel welcome. I also loved the beautiful lobby and the overall attention to detail throughout the hotel. It was a lovely experience, and I would happily stay here again."
