“We are currently on a 5,000 mile road trip through New England- a ‘bucket list’ trip we’ve been planning for years- with lodging varying from Wyndham to Hilton’s and others in between. When we found this resort on Expedia, we happily booked a room. To be completely honest, this was the most anticipated stop of our trip. DAs Haus ist an der Hauptstraße gelegen, mit Geschäften, Cafes und Restaurants. Die Geschäfte schließen um 5 pm (im Mai). In der Umgebung kann man auch viele Aktivitäten machen. Wir können das Butler House wärmstens empfehlen.”

“There are no negatives. Staff was great, rooms are clean, location is amazing! Loved that they host a 4:00 tea and cookie time. We stepped out and had all kinds of shopping/restaurants all around us. I will definitely stay again. We never got to check out the pool..next time!”

“Would highly recommend AWOL. Excellent location walkable from the village, but also far enough to feel like you are in your own retreat. We stayed in the lodge and the room was very nice—good bed, TV, bathroom, amenities. The breakfast is terriific and much better than the standard free continental breakfast. It was rainy so didn’t use the hot tubs, hammock, etc. but it was all there.”
