“Where to stay for 5 nights on the 'Garden Route'? Should we rove from one location to the next so we tick them off? We stayed 4 nights here before taking 1 night on the route back to Cape Town. “We wanted to love this place. The location and house is sublime. The staff is very nice as well. The problem is that we payed a great deal for two nights, but there was no hot water for the entire stay. On the morning we were leaving, prior to check out time, they just shut off the water altogether with no warning. They did give us 10% off for one night. But that was hardly compensation for the water situation. I just can’t recommend this place. ”

“The room is a high standard, it’s secure and safe with an excellent breakfast. The property is on a main road, while one can hear the traffic it’s not a problem.”

“Fitting aircons would definately add value to the stay. Rooms originally booked was very noisy but that has been sorted. Extremely hot, uncomfortable room with only a portable fan available. By opening the sliding door let mosquitoes into the room. The lication also next to main road with cars and trucks up and down 24hrs”

“Great location & A great host Unfortunately there is no air con and the heat at night made it very difficult to sleep at night. The bedroom we had was small. The other 2 larger bedrooms had sliding doors on to a balcony,which you could leave open at night for some air flow. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs in total 1x double-1 x twin smaller rooms with little air flow. 2x larger rooms with sliding doors to balconies Great breakfast too. ”
