“Breakfast was very good and the lady serving was lovely and extremely friendly, even though she was on her own and very busy. Bedroom was clean. Price was good value.”

“The room was clean and spacious with a great view of the garden . The hotel itself needs some updating , blown windows peeling paint work in the bar reception area .The staff were polite and professional even though they were obviously understaffed ! Unfortunately the evening meal wasn’t the best , but in the morning the breakfast more than made up for it . A selection of of pastries, fresh...

“this place was good for 1 night only; the food left lots to be desired, The evening meal was very disappointing. The breakfast was dreadful; the eggs were so overcooked they were crisp on the bottom and all around the edges. The staff were somewhat laid-back. I would not recommend this place to anyone.”

“Honestly this was the MOST perfect stay for a new forest adventure. i cannot tell you how special this place is you just need to go an experience it for yourself. Special shout out to ALL the staff, they were just as perfect as the room was. thank you thank you thank you. it was a dream.”

“It's cozy place. I wanna eat nice breakfast again. ”

“Lovely Inn , clean , well maintained and friendly and helpful staff . Really pleasant stay in a great location”

“OK room - no air con but understandable give the age of the building. Bed was OK, but traffic noise is noticeable, especially with the window open (remember there is no air con), so not the best nights' sleep. Staff were fantastic though, especially the breakfast server and the breakfast itself was great.”

“The bed was clearly very old as the mattress was lumpy and had a ridge where people before me had slept. The fridge leaked on to the carpet even though there was nothing in there. The pub good was very good though”
