Safe, quiet, good beds, great location with safe path all the way to the ice rink. Convenience/gas station right next door. Just wish our room had a coffee pot, but the price was good.

Had a great one night stay! Quiet, clean, wonderful staff, close to downtown and the breakfast was good, a nice selection, and most importantly good coffee. Will definitely stay here again. : )

Our room was very nice size. We particularly appreciated the in m-room fireplace, though we spent most of our time by the fireplaces downstairs. Wish there was TV in the room, but not a big deal.

If you're not into winter sports, there's not a lot to do around there in the winter. Many shops are closed. It didn't matter though, we were there for family. Summer is a lot more fun for us!!

Winthrop attracts many different kinds of people - skiers, snowmobilers, hunters, walk round tourists, mtn bikers, hikers...great place. Everyone seems to get along and is happy.
