“Very charming samll and professional hotel. We loved the small town in woodstock. The bath room was huge and room was huge too. We loved the bread specially raisn croissant it was the best I've ever had before. Really love hthe hotel and would come back soon .”

“Mattress was really uncomfortable and there was hair in the shower on the tiles which hadn’t been cleaned from previous people. Also the tv wouldn’t connect to the internet so couldn’t use the smart tv function. The cold tap didn’t work and couldn’t adjust temperature to cooler in the shower. However the decor was really nicely done and the pub/restaurant was nice.”

“This was a perfect country retreat and antidote to busy, crowded Oxford. The room was clean and spacious, with everything we needed. This is not a walk to the city - you will need a car or you will need to become very friendly with the excellent local bus system, but the exchange is an absolute charmer of a real traditional country inn and pub. My only complaint is that the morning coffee set-up was coffee in a bag, which was tasteless and gritty. A little Nespresso machine would go a long way...

“Extremely disappointing stay and nowhere near the standard expected for a superior room. We had booked a twin room but were initially given a double. When we were eventually moved to the twin room we had actually booked, the condition of it was unacceptable. There was hair across the bathroom, stained bedding, significant dust throughout the room and heavy dirt and buildup around the extractor fan and light fittings. The coffee machine still contained water and used pods from the previous...
