“We only stayed overnight as at a wedding at Hodsock Priory, this is an ideal hotel for the venue as only few minutes away. The rooms are lovely, very clean and modern, I particularly liked the mirrors in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, good choices available and just what we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We want to go back and try the evening meals another time. Definitely recommend the hotel though.”

“Lovely place would definitely stay again! Friendly staff and great location. My less than tip makes on cleaning was only cause I do a little tv dust test ( there was dust on top of tv) but other wise lovely”

“I reported my room wouldn't lock. The manager came but was unable to sort the matter. I wasn't offered another room as they were fully booked nor was I offered compensation! I slept with the waste bin at an angle so I would hear an intrusion. As a single lady traveller, I won't be going back!”

“Room was small but had everything you need. Few shops and places to eat in walking distance. The food they served all just seem to come with chips and was abit overpriced.”

“One night stay, room(plum porter) much bigger than photos , clean comfy and in keeping with the building. Staff very friendly, beer spot on food good. We didn't want breakfast as we were going for lunch, just. Suited us. Lovely little village, church peaceful, sound of the bells chiming, like going back in time. Nothing we didn't like, beautiful hanging baskets, beer terrace, a very popular, dog friendly pub, thanks.”

“3rd time I've stayed. Very handy for Blyton Park. Room and pub/restaurant very enjoyable place to be. Be careful that meals are booked and confirmed the day before. Check restaurant times carefully. Pub does close very early on a Sunday.”
