“What a beautiful cottage, perfect for our trip South and hosts couldn’t have been more helpful!”

“We stayed in a room that had a shower over the bath, quite a step to get out, we feel a bath mat should be provided. The towels are lovely and big, the bed was very comfortable but the pillows need replacing. Nice place to stay as it’s an easy walk into town. Yes we would stay here again.”

“Clean room, easy parking with friendly and professional staff. Warm welcome with a lovely Tavern for a drink, limited menu for dinner but very tasty simple food. The inclusive breakfast buffet was excellent, good selection of cooked and continental breakfast items. We were a couple and enjoyed the knights sword fighting, brilliant performances. For families with young children there was a small park, story telling with Zog and Knights interacting throughout dinner.”

“Reception looks modern and clean. And the staff both checking in and out were friendly and welcoming. The room however was dated and the bathroom needs work due to cracked grouting, mould in the shower and just generally tired looking. The bed was very springy but we appreciate they added an extra for my child for the booking. ”

However the music from the bar was so loud. The music went on till midnight, then started again at 7am and went on the whole next day, louder at night. “Excellent position in centre of town with free parking. Good size room and friendly staff. Sunday Roast meal was very good despite us arriving near end of serving time. Breakfast adequate and enjoyed. Only problem was the lumpy pillows which were uncomfortable and so didn’t sleep very well.”

After a rather brusque check-in with a middle aged Asian gentleman (the owner?), we made our way to Room 10, a king sized room with an additional bed in a side room. “Lovely clean room, included fridge, ironing board, iron as well as the usual things you'd expect like tea/coffee facilities, desk, TV, toiletries, hair dryer. Comfy bed. I'd recommend to stay here but if you're a light sleeper you may need ear plugs as occasional traffic can be heard. Excellent breakfast choice, cooked breakfast made fresh to order. Would definitely stay here again ”
