Wonderful Birchfield Manor
We had a great stay in October. Rooms were comfortable, grounds were manicured, and the staff was attentive to our needs. The breakfast was excellent!

Our stay was very nice in the old Manor home. Our room was nicely remodeled and included a jacuzzi tub. We enjoyed the super comfortable bed and slept well in the quiet setting. The room nicely decorated and still had the feel of an old manor. Beautiful grounds with a pool.

The owner upgraded our room at no extra charge simply because it was available. Nicely appointed - we got maximum use out of the jacuzzi. Room service breakfast was excellent, as was dinner (owner is a wonderful chef as well). Plan to return for the summer when the Yakima Valley is in full bloom.

Breakfast was Excellent. Room was nice and clean. Bed was 1x king and very comfortable. I believe we were the only folks staying for the evening which was great-no noise and very private. Only had 2 issues: I couldn't figure out the heater in the room so we had to call for help. It would be nice for written info on how to work the heater/AC. Also, the shower curtain doesn't go all the way down to the floor in the Willow Room which allows water to get on the floor. We had to put a towel down to protect floor. A longer shower curtain should solve the problem. Yes, indeed, we had a great time, it was money well spent and we look forward to going back next year.

The staff is great and friendly, but the room is outdated and small, the pictures of the king-size room are misleading. Breakfast was excellent.

Claude, thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the stay. I see that you booked the Anne room which is one of our smaller rooms, yet still decent size. The photo we have posted appears to represent the room accurately to me. Could you possibly have been looking at Panorama or Vineyard but booked Anne? These two rooms are very large and quite a bit higher priced then Anne. In any case, we hope to see you back and next time, consider Hunters Glen or Rose Sunset which are large or Panorama or Vineyard which are very large.

Not welcoming, room was small,not well organized. Staff was nonexistent except for one girl from housekeeping who tried to help with wifi. No wifi in the room. Grounds were nice.

John, I'm sorry for your experience. Please know that we take your input seriously. Also, we have an order in with our telecom company to try to find a way to improve the wifi in the Manor house. Thanks for the review.

We stayed at Birchfield Manor Inn only for one night. We were really surprised how nice is this hotel. Room is big and nicely furnished, clean. View is wonderful. Place is very quiet. Breakfast was brought directly into the room. Quality of food and a way how it was served is on a level of a sophisticated fine restaurant. A small detail (someone can find it useful): this hotel is located in a walking distance from Bail Breaker Brewing Company :)

Fantastic setup, beautiful location, awesome breakfast. Checkin system was confusing...we couldn’t find anybody to help us at first but once we did it was great!

No staff to check you in. or on site. Had to call and wait for someone to come. They gave me the key code, showed me the room and left. Room was supposed to have a king bed but only had a queen. Bed not professionally made up. No common areas in the manor as the restaurant took up most of the first floor. When I asked,about breakfast I was told it was at 8:30 served in your room. Not sure where we were supposed to eat it as there wasn't a table or chairs in the room. No options were given for breakfast at a different time. We decided to leave without waiting for breakfast. On the plus side, the room was clean, towels were nice and the setting good. There was a pool available. The manor house has tremendous potential but I think the owners need to decide whether they want to run a high end restaurant in the space or a bed and with breakfast. I stay at a B&B for the hospitality, opportunity to interact with the owners and other guests, unique breakfasts and a personalized experience. This B&B did not meet these goals.
