“This is an amazing hotel, everything is very special. Rooms are clean and spacious and with lovely views and lots of natural light. The facilities such as the pool and the spa are fantastic. “Absolutely beautiful property. Right on the beach with easy access. Hanuman langur monkeys were right outside the room. They were so cute! Room had poor lighting, but everything else was perfect! Hotel next door has a superb buffet- best i have ever eaten in terms of variety! Access road was bad and there was no place for our driver to stay so he had to find his own lodging.”

“Hotel a 3 km de la ville, assez éloigné sans service a proximité. Safari trés cher. J'avais résérvé une chambre mais a mon arrivée il n'y en avait pas alors on m'a proposé le dortoir au meme tarif se que j'ai refusé et aprés discussion j'ai obtenu une tente-chambre. Trés bien dans la grosse savane mais prés de la grande route pas nécessaire du tout. Personnel serviable mais on sans que l'argent et le but premier du centre. ”

Easily accessed by public transit if you've got the correct address. Make sure they know you're coming, as they were unaware I had made the reservation. If you can't find their phone #, try them on Facebook, or worst case scenario, go to to their Tile & Bathroom Shop, next to Sampath Bank... Don't...

“Excellent experience, very unique dining options s ”

“First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine....

“ Absolutely amazing hotel! The rooms are clean and big. A great pool and you are very close to Yala national park. However the chef Pradeep was absolutely the highlight of our stay. The food he served was also good. Since we are not from Sri Lanka he took the time to explain what he uses, and how they look. Het also gave great recommendations. But the staff was also very nice, very helpful. Even the Peacock that resides was nice!”
