Breakfast was good. Room was clean and modern. Road in is a little dark at night but that's to be expected in that area. Not much of a view but plenty of fresh clean air as it's surrounded by trees. Paperless checkout would have been nice. Japanese hotels love to print out a bill on A4
We stayed 3 nights there . In general the hotel is clean, spacious and nice with hot spa. Breakfast also good with wide variety. However there is only 1 restaurant which not much selection
Private onsen in the room is great. It is better if there is a view of Mt. Fuji at the same time with the onsen. 🙂

Forget about the view of the hotel and pls do not advertise being see my fuij which is not and some of the room is facing the cabbage dumb and they show other room for me and it has food on the floor. And the onsen is not full time for people to stay only few hours per day!! So hard to come across our family holiday with granny and grand children together, it was not too nice!
Staying with this hotel the second time. The best hotel I have ever stayed throughout my travels. The room is huge and spacious. Furthermore, the daily room service is top notch and a lot of effort can be seen put into it. The breakfast is full of variety and delicious. Highly recommended place to stay if you drive.

Excellent stay here with my family in early Jan - Lots of lovely countryside to explore especially the lake. Pros - Excellent Staff in Restaurant as well as hotel itself, free shuttle down to the lake, free saki at NY. Cons - very small bathroom, beds are futons and very hard in some cases. long wait for breakfast in morning and log wait to check-in. Needs to be an airport shuttle as well - we had to pay exorbitant private car costs to airport - Otherwise would stay again, great views of Mount Fuji and great location.
Modern, clean, comfortable, spacious (especially for Japan), and well appointed rooms. We were upgraded and our room included a private onsen -- highly recommended! The property is a little far from the town so its best if you have a car. We will stay there again for our next visit.
Excellent resort surrounded by greenery. Large, modern, neat and tidy public bath with sauna and open air bath. Service was excellent - they sent us a complimentary slice of cake at midnight for my wife's birthday. Highly recommended for those who do not need to stay right next to the lake.
The staff was very good and helpful. They saw us with young kids and helped with our suitcases. Room is new and clean :)
There were 4 of us and the hotel only prepared 2 futons in the evening. We had to prepare 2 futon beds ourselves every night, when we are back in our room.
Amazing hotel. Big room ,clean bedsheets , new facilities.
Breakfast is amazing, many janpanese style foods.
The dinner was more like western two courses set menu, a little bit disappointing because we was expecting Japanese style half board dinner . But the food and staff are still very good
Anyway nice hotel, strong recommended
Rooms themed like Muji. Minimalistic but good quality, mattress a little on the hard side. About 2 km from lake front. Pretty much the only western (or even Japanese) chain hotel for miles. Yamanakako is the closest lake to Mt Fuji, great views and easily reachable to Hakone and Gotemba. Good breakfast.
Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Loved the hot-tub in the room and the onsen while small had essential needs. Lacking some amenities: no ice machine for chilling drinks, limited vending machine options. No mini-store. Parking is very limited and something the hotel staff admitted they are working on.
Breakfast was fantastic. Table tennis was fun but could have used some music or other supporting features to make more lively.
