The location is great. Morning views of Mount Fuji were unbeatable. We were fortunate to have clear mornings, although, mid afternoon to late afternoon, clouds tend to move in and cover the mountain. Although very old property, it is well maintained, very clean. The Open air spa is fantastic, providing a very close-up, intimate view of Mount Fuji. all in all, our three night stay was wonderful. Highly recommend this property.
Since the property is 2 km up the mountain, transportation could be an issue, although, if you carefully plan your exit and return, with their shuttle service, it works out very well.
Great size room, super comfy Mattress, delicious breakfast with the best omelette ever made by a fantastic chef! The onsen , public bath, sauna facilities with a fantastic view of Fuji Mount. The view of Fuji from the Hotel Mt Fuji made our ten day trip to Japan very special.
Breathtaking views of Mount Fuji right from the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the two onsens were a great experience. Free parking made everything very convenient. Overall a wonderful stay.

Liked: Cleanliness
What makes up for the outdated and a little rundown room is the excellent bell service we received, including the reliable shuttle service. The dinner was a delightful experience.
The rooms are nice. The view from the hotel of mt.fuji is insane. The breakfast was good also. The spa/onsen is soooo good. The downsides are it's kind of isolated and the food options there are very expensive.
Room is spacious and clean. Onsen facilities are good and clean. Just need to book the Japanese dinner buffet in advance. Otherwise you have to take fine dining for dinner only.
Great location to experience mt Fuji in a relaxed atmosphere.
We stayed in the Japanese style family room which was very spacious with beautiful lake views.
Both outdoor hot springs were really lovely, one with a view to Mount Fuji.
Breakfast was excellent with breathtaking view of mt Fuji. The staff were very helpful.
Some parts of the common areas in the hotel definitely need refreshing. But overall highly recommended.

Overall the room was clean and roomy. Great view of the lake and Mt Fuji. The outdoor onsen
Good view of Mt Fuji, the Onsen was lovely too. Staff was a bit challenging to communicate and seemed a bit disorganized. Took way too long to arrange luggage transfer to my next destination AND it ended up arriving two days later. The grounds were nice to walk but not much to do around the area.
