However, it was very difficult to find, since it doesn't have a sign (is it a legal hospitality accommodation?), the public spaces are filthy and the private rooms, though reasonably clean, worn and in desperate need of renovation. Haifa is hilly and this property is very strategically located in a beautiful area called the Old German village. The B'hai gardens are a 10-minute walk away. "We like this establishment and keep coming back. A bit overpriced, but can't compete with the beautiful view of the sea of Galilee from all windows and the little secluded terrace that allows privacy well appreciated for a couple's weekend. Only main shortcoming is the included breakfast that is underwhelming, especially the cold shakshuka and scrambled eggs. Just put a lid on the pans and warm up the surface it's on, how difficult is that?!?"
