“This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest. The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent.”

“Good property to stay for peaceful surroundings and having choice of venues to dine in.Staff friendly and helpful.Only negative was we had an upstairs room and my wife and I both have bad osteoarthritis in our knees and hips.I did ask staff if we could change to a ground floor room but the property was fully booked. In future when booking I need to request for a ground floor room.”

“Overall stay was pleasurable. Nice cottage and quiet surrounds. Just a few things- Lucky key box was already open as we weren’t sent a code or check-in details. Cobwebs and dust hanging from windows, ceilings and fan was an eyesore. In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. No curtain to cover the window facing the loft bedroom which let the hot sun beam...

“We were welcomed by staff and were given a great run down about places to go and things to see as we are not frequent visitors to the mountains. We stayed in the Parisienne room. What a gorgeous place. We opened the door and the first thing that caught my eye was the full window with a view of the beautiful trees, & such a gorgeous sight to see first thing in the morning. The room was excellent, with generous amount of items for breakfast. The bath was amazing and great after a day of walks...

“For the price point of this accommodation it was very disappointing. The bathroom had no door to the shower causing the entire bathroom to be wet. No mirror above the free standing bathroom sink. Mirror in the bathroom was opposite the toilet! No milk supplied. Arrived at 3pm and the cottage was absolutely freezing taking over 1.5hours to warm up. Entry to the cottage was half way down the driveway and up a heavily overgrown pathway with no lighting at all. Needed to use our phones to see where...
