Chance Encounter was the perfect base for us to visit relatives in Luodong. The facilities are sparkling clean, the wifi is fast, breakfast is varied and delicious, but what really sets this B&B apart is the wonderful host, Jodie. She was incredibly welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Her generous hospitality is the reason I would stay at Chance Encounter again. Highly recommend!

It was a weekday and although we had 1 lovely spacious room, we also had the whole 1st floor pubic area to ourselves. It was bright, spacious, and very well cared for. The plot of land is a long strip of agricultural land with a building on either end and a turtle refuge with turtle food plants next to the older of the 2 buildings. Interesting outside decor. Mattresses and pillow are firm. :D Mini-split cools down room fast. It has elevator. :o Funky bathroom but usable. I think it doubles as a sauna, there is heating for bathroom. Not sure. McDonalds breakfast! Had to take off outside shoes before going up. Evidence of previous family in room, since wall still had crayon markings on wall D: Great for family and couples. Cutesy design of room and amenities. I like dolphins and whales! Overall good rating.
