"The trees, birds, and butterflies around the property are beautiful. The ladies that checked us in were friendly. There was definitely a language barrier, and they didn't give us much information besides showing us to our room. The room was very basic, which is ok. The room had very strong plug in air fresheners, which was very overpowering and gave us head aches. The beds were rock hard and not comfortable, and 2 of the 4 pillows we had were moldy, which was pretty awful. We didn't notice...

"Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning. The private trail was a moderate hike to a gorgeous waterfall and was a great taste of the beauty of the area without the crowds of Tenorio. Our 6 year-old loved seeing the red-eyed tree...
