“Fantastic stay, Superb food & Drink”

“Lovely hotel set in its own grounds , food was excellent , Great for a peaceful break away .”

“Nice beds, friendly staff, and decent breakfast. However, the visit was spoiled by the malfunctioning air conditioning in the middle of summer. There was instead a plastic fan avaialble which perhaps proves that the staff were aware of of issue. They did offer to see if they could place us in another room but that would mean re-packing again in the middle of the night, so we just had to put up with it. Really uncomfortable night with a 3 year old!”

“Very clean room with a large bathroom area. Excellent breakfast and had meal in pub the evening before which was spot on. Was lucky to have a sea view and was awoken by a fantastic sunrise.”

“We had a suite at the hotel, it was very roomy, full of character and access to a superior breakfast! All well worth the money. Staff were friendly and very helpful too. The only grumble we had, we asked for a fan and there were non available. I've not made this impact the overall stay rating as the weather was unusually extremely hot so the same request had probably came from all rooms - i would say the hotel should have invested in more fans in preparation for the heat wave that week. “Breakfast was cooked fresh & good. Staff were excellent. Treated my elderly Mum like the Queen she is. Bag drop off & disabled parking all excellent. Easily walk into town. Bar small but good. Managed to fit us all in to watch England play! Great place to stay, staff make you feel as if you are the only people there. ”

“Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Plenty of free parking on site. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent. Options for breakfast were plentiful. Would definitely stay there again.”
