Overall pretty good stay though I don’t think we would stay again. It’s advertised as a hotel but I believe they are independently owned apartments so no daily cleaning services, no new towels, no garbage removal. Negatives about property were the bed was horribly firm, no extra blankets or pillows provided, 1 thin blanket on bed, we did have a kitchenette but very few cooking utensils were supplied (no knives besides butter knives, 1 spatula, 1 frying pan, 1 bowl). Upon arrival our personal pool was very dirty and required maintenance to clean it up, which they were incredibly quick about with great customer service to fix it. Also all pools are not heated and quite cold- great for when it’s sunny and hot on the rooftop but as soon as the sun goes down it’s way too cold to swim. The main level pool gets almost no sun so we didn’t see a single person swimming in it as it was way too chilly. Pros: great location, many restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, and large grocery market nearby. Main strip was maybe 10 minute walk away. Rooftop shared pool was awesome, though the bar that is pictured is empty and not ran by anyone and tanning beds do not have comfy cushions like in the pictures, quite uncomfortable and dark in colour so they get very hot in the sun. The building did feel very safe, staff always at front desk and helpful with any questions we had. For the price you can get for the smaller rooms I think it’s a great place but too many cons for us to stay again.

Room smell like sewer for most of the stay, felt like I was sneaking around my parents house.

Coco Unlimited is so sweet and I am so happy I chose it for my first trip to Tulum. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s unbelievable how kind they all are. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy, comfortable, and enjoying your stay. This includes everyone from the front desk, to the restaurant staff, to the grounds and cleaning staff. The restaurant is delicious. The view and access to the sea is great. The rooms are super pretty. The pool area is awesome- love the waterfall feature. It’s simply a perfect vacay experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel over all the pumped up hotels on the Playa. The vibe here is super cool and mellow and human scale. Very different from what is up the road. Coco is your Tulum if you want a pretty, yummy, kind, happy, chill experience.

Everything was great, great service, perfect location, would definitely stay again.

The room was ok but they don't have a well equipped kitchen. No small appliances and not kitchen towels. The worse was the couch in the living room who is dirty and with stains. The service and the employees are very good and attentive to the needs of the guest. Candelario, and Jose were great. Thank you!
