A beautifully restored building with super hosts! Ideally located in a residential area away from the normal tourist areas with good transport links. Within walking distance of the three cities. Great food too!

The owner was super helpful and accommodating! He saved us from missing our flight, served us breakfast before we departed at 0300 in the morning. If you want someone who truly cares about your experience, you can’t go wrong here.

What an absolutely outstanding, beautiful hotel with owners who really care about your stay. Alexis could not have been more friendly or helpful. I love that he sat with a map and highlighted things he'd recommend and must see sights. He also was able to offer boat trips, restaurant recommendations (as well as his own food) and best way to see the island. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, a beautiful peaceful boutique with a fabulous underground bar. It was 5 minutes to get to Birgu for bars and the very short boat ride to Valletta. I could not recommend this highly enough. Thanks you Alexis and your staff for making our holiday incredible, we will definitely be back to stay again.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a popular country. We stayed 4 nights here. The staff was exceptional in setting up a very home feel environment for their guests. We had many conversation and chats even with the other guests in a very relaxing and comfortable evenings. We had dinner 3 nights in the hotel and they are able to indulged my appetite with 3 nights of fish which I love. The room itself was basic but functional and clean. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we recommend your stay too.

The Promise of a Maltese Palazzo

Honey-colored stone in abundance, enclosing a haven of a hotel. The pool is a statement feature, surrounded by recliners and a lawn. The courtyard is a splendid historical space, and offers a retreat space for dining and reading.

This beautiful, romantic, and authentic property balances peaceful tranquility with a warm and friendly staff that infused every aspect of my visit with graciousness and accomodation. From the romanesque architecture and glamorous decor of the property's bar and game room to the twinkling lights of the interior courtyard by night and natural beauty of fruit trees and birds during the day, the interior courtyard was always a beautiful place to dine. The french owner of the property is an accomplished chef and can provide french -influenced, delicious meals in the evenings if desired. The small pool area was an addition to the property and tastefully blends with the grace and style of the rest of the property. The rooms , if slightly spare, were comfortable and elegant in furnishings and appropriate in the use of native stone. I do not hesitate to give this property the highest of recommendations and would definitely stay there again.
