Fantastic property, with amazing views! Ocean view from the bedrooms and feels so private a real luxurious getaway. Pro: Clean. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Rental car brought to you at hotel. Beautiful views. Rent car and go to shipwreck beach etc. Arrange for a private. boat - with the extra expense (through hotel). Cons: Short walk to town but the first part is scary because of no sidewalks (take a 8 euro taxi on return if dark). Room is very clean but basic and is very small/tight.

I would definitely recommend the Ionian Hill Hotel. The location of the hotel, close to the harbour, beaches and Zakinthos town was perfect. The room was very clean, comfortable and modern, and the pool was also excellent and well-maintained. Breakfast was delicious with lots of tasty options and the restaurant itself was lovely with gorgeous sunset views. We ate there a couple of times just because of the beautiful setting and ambience, but I was not impressed with the cuisine. There is better food to be had in the many tavernas of Argassi, Zakinthos Town and the charming village of Bohali. The best thing about the Ionian Hill Hotel, however, is the staff. They are all outstanding and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
