This was the last of five hotels that we stayed at in Switzerland. The suite was very spacious and beautiful and it had a dual washer/dryer! It was so nice to do some laundry and get organized at the end of our long trip. The staff was nice and very responsive. The location is a little off the beaten track, but close to public transportation.

This was one of the nicest hotels in Europe we have been too. The staff was super helpful, the hotel was very clean, very spacious and good view of the view. We loved that the hotel was set up for us with the baby cot and high chair. We were very impressed. The only thing we didn’t care for was the charge for the kitchen, if you wanted to cook they would charge you to turn on the power. We would also liked a gym or pool but either way it was amazing and would come back to stay with them.

We booked a one bedroom and it’s so roomy. Breakfast is fair for the price. Tram station is right across the street. The staff is very helpful and she guided me how to use the washer and stove. Definitely will come next time.

Nice hotel right on tram line and close to town/walkable. We had a two-bedroom apartment- our only complaint was that you have to pay extra if you want to use anything in the kitchen, down to the silverware drawer being locked and no paper towels, dish soap or anything. You can use the washer/dryer 1x without being charged. You will be charged extra to use any kitchen amenities - just fyi. Otherwise, a fantastic space and friendly staff.

This was a wonderful stay for my family of three. Walking out the front door of the building, we were only 20 paces from the tram that took us to all the main attractions, all within 15 minutes. The apartment amenities were fantastic (W/D, a kitchenette with all the major appliances, bath wash/shampoo) and everything was so CLEAN. The staff from housekeeping to the front desk people were all top-notch, responsive, helpful and friendly. For 20 CHF (around $25 USD) per person/per day, we had breakfast brought to our room because it was cozy to eat in before heading out to our great adventures. I had a small medical emergency and was given directions by their front desk team to an urgent care center that was near the train station--a mere 7-minute commute! Ours was a 1-BR suite with a twin sofa bed in the living room. In addition to a full bath with a tub and shower, there was also a powder room (sink and toilet) in the living room. Tons of storage space for your luggage and clothes. It seemed everything about the room was sound-proof because the only outside noise we heard was the occasional police or ambulance sirens and we never heard any noise from other units. Very quiet neighborhood! It was a perfect place as a home base for our train travels to other major cities. The tram outside the hotel took you to the main train station in about 7 minutes where there were trains running very frequently to major hubs like Lucerne, Bern, Basel, etc. A really great place to stay.

The room was plenty spacious for three - my daughter was excited to have a room to herself. It was sweet the way breakfast is brought to your room to be served. The lady would brought the food each morning was very nice as was everyone at the front desk. Thank you!

Disliked: Amenities
The 2 bedroom executive room was great for our family of 5. The room was clean with plenty of towels and cleaning staff was great and really nice. There were no hotel amenities however. It states that there is a wonderful breakfast in the description but I guess since we booked the biggest room with a kitchen they told me that we were provided a kitchen so they don’t provide food. Big disappointment since this hotel is very secluded away from grocery stores and restaurants. The tram stop is right out the front door so that is very handy and a plus for this hotel. If we were ever staying in Zurich again I would not stay. It’s far away from restaurants. But if you want a more secluded area and away from hustle and bustle it is fine. Just really lacking in the little things that make it a nice stay. They provide coffee in the rooms but it’s terrible half and half/ minimal sugar packets. A coffee station at the front desk would be nice and water bottles to go would also be nice.

Great location, very friendly, helpful staff and the most comfortable bed and room we’ve ever stayed in. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw our room with a view of the city below. The breakfast service and selection was fantastic. We wished the 5 other hotels we stayed at on our trip were as great as EMA! EMA is a hidden gem!
