The room & the bathroom looked small in the photos on the website, but we actually had enough space for our luggage, and the bathroom space was also comfortable. The hotel has easy access to public transportation. We would definitely stay there again!

We liked the hotel, very convenient next to the train station so clean and breakfast was really good and the staff very helpful, surroundings kind of noisy because of the Bus Station. But overall we enjoyed our stay at Fred Hotel.. I definitely would recomend this place

Friendly, helpful staff! The rooms are small, we were referring to them as our dorm rooms😄, but they are clean and comfortable. We were very happy with our overnight stay. The breakfast was nice and had good options. I eat a continental breakfast typically so I wasn’t In need of pancakes or omelets. The train station is maybe five minutes away and the old town a pleasant walk. Very close to the Swiss History museum and Kunsthaus.

Wonderful stay!

Wonderful stay in Fred! It’s close proximity to the Zurich HB makes everything easy and convenient. There is also a tram station right at the hotel door step. Hotel breakfast is decent and good. Comfy bed and clean rooms. We have chosen Fred when we flew in to zurich and once again, when we flew our from zurich.

Convenient location, excellent air-conditioning

The room for one was about as basic as it gets but included a private bathroom. Breakfast buffet was quite good, and there was free coffee available around the clock in the lobby and on each floor. The location was superb, on the bank of the Sihl and a two-minute walk from Zurich Central Station. In hot weather, the powerful air-conditioning system was greatly appreciated.

Hotel is very close to the main train station with easy access to all the main tourist attractions in Zurich. There is a Starbucks next to the hotel if you like American style coffee drinks. I would recommend the hotel if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel for a short stay in Zurich.
