Riviera Nayarit Adults Only Vacations

I have stayed in FA PVR several times so was excited for this new opening in Riv Nay. I anticipated some hiccups because of this new ownership and so there were many really good parts to the stay and several areas for improvement. The grounds and pools are emaculate - constantly being cleaned.The surrounding concreted areas need a real power clean. Great security around pool area and kudos to the guard that wears the camo hat - he is constantly on the move, tidying up, identifying problem areas, looking out for safety issues!! Not enough chairs and lots of empty spaces!! And the brown rattan chairs should be replaced. - no wheels, or one missing wheel or holes all over. 95% of the staff were GREAT - friendly, smiling, helpful and really made the effort to ensure an enjoyable stay so i don;t want to mention just a few names. There were others, usually in the a la carte restaurants that gave the impression the sooner you were in and out the better. Fresh fruits and salads and bakery area had lots of fresh choices but needed better monitoring (frequently no margarine, jam, no cups or glasses, serving spoons etc) Hot entres were hit and miss - e,g, covers left open so everything got cold, eggs station great and efficient. Ala carte, very inconsistent in quality between appetizers and main and quality in general. Pool service was generally very good. Rooms very spacious, oddly furnished though, glass shower and toilet area needs major refurbishment! AC worked great!!
