Mirabel a time share selling engine!!!! Glorified expensive time share tourist trap to save dollars on an already expensive excursion buyer beware! Cheeky peeps simply sloppy shoulderd despite numerous emails to hotel and global cust liasons - stating 'you got your $off didn't you' implying you got what u wanted after being abused and bullied into buying a time share for over 3hrs - absolute monstrous and intimidating sales that hotel owners fully appear to support! Full review below... This was meant to be a family holiday of a lifetime to Cancun in Mexico - I mean 'All Inclusive' 5* spa resort What more could you ask for? First thing is first, when I booked hotel through Expedia there was no way to specify one king room and a room with twin beds for my kids. So sent them message a few weeks ahead of time which was ignored. Then when I eventually got a message from hotel they said I would to talk to hotel staff at check-in - strike one - being a 5 star luxury resort I expected them to ask about transfers and diet but nothing... So we arrived in cancun and we manage to avoid all the taxi agents ready to book an Uber but quickly realised that Airport and Uber don't mix and the uber driver refused to step onto airport grounds despite being fully paid asking us to walk 2km with checked in luggage, wanting us to cancel at last minute. Anyway we rang Mirabel Hotel and was put through to Amstar agent called c who was a superstar and arranged transfer within 10min -

Everything was amazing except the power went out one day and it happened to be the day I needed to use hot tools on my hair. Not a downer on a normal person but I was extremely hot. Other that that everything was over top amazing food was great. Service the ppl the vendors the shows were great

We weren't told about the construction, the elevator to our room wasn't working and we were on the 4th floor. The phone didn't work, the oom that we reserved had leaking a roof in the bathroom, we were locked inside the lobby elevator due to electricity issues. After waiting in the lobby for 4hrs and finally getting into our room, there was no running water. The food was not good and was served cold. We paid $100 for snorkeling photos and have not received them as of yet. This is our 3rd trip to Secrets and we were very disappointed. I feel that I deserve a credit at this point and will not be going again. Have a great day.
