Overall great stay
We stayed 4 nights at the Fairmont after our cruise to Bali, Malaysia and Thailand. The location is fantastic, the MRT was very close and the famous Singapore Sling at Raffles Hotel was right across the street.
Our room was very good, very large and comfortable. The pillows were a little too firm for my liking, but after walking around all day, sleep came pretty easy.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. My only complaint was with the Ante dote bar. We went to have a drink on our last night and my husband was wearing walking sandals. We were told there was a dress code and he needed to wear enclosed shoes. I was wearing flip flops and those were ok so I'm a bit offended at this. Why is it that women can wear sandals but not men?
Other than that, everything else was wonderful

The rooms are very clean. The showers have strong water pressure. Depending on the location of your cottage, the lobby may be far away, so you may need to take the shuttle bus. However, the shuttle bus always picks you up quickly, so it was a very nice environment.
